Cocoa butter is the natural fat from cocoa beans and is the most used butter in the cosmetics industry.

It is particularly rich in moisturizing properties and is wonderful when added to face and hand moisturizers or, in higher percentages, to body creams as a more potent moisturizer. Helps regenerate dry/irritated skin and improve the appearance of stretch marks.

It has a melting point of about 35°C, which provides firmness and "body" to creams and balms, leaving the skin soft and silky.

At higher room temperatures, some butters can become quite runny. However, cocoa butter remains quite firm even on the warmest days.

Cocoa butter has a smooth texture and is aromatic enough to be appetizing.

The use of cocoa butter in the hair provides greater manageability and hydration.

Cocoa butter can help prevent hair loss due to breakage or inherently fine texture. It can also help relieve itching and irritation of the scalp, as well as help prevent chemical damage.

More than repairing existing damage, cocoa butter can also help prevent further damage to your hair. For example, chlorine used in swimming pools often strips hair of its color and moisture. Through regular application of a conditioner containing cocoa butter, hair can build a barrier resistant to the effects of chlorine!

People with fine hair can benefit greatly from using this butter, which can infuse hair strands with volume and resilience if used regularly. Although the immediate benefits may be temporary, regular use of the product helps fine hair look healthier and shinier.

In soap making: Contributes to: bar hardness, stable lather, conditioning, hydration, fast tracking.

When used as a "superfat" oil, it creates a protective layer that keeps moisture away from the skin.

This butter has a natural chocolate aroma and contains natural antioxidants that help prevent rancidity.

Recommended usage levels: Soap: 3-10% (up to 15% for a soft cocoa scent), Lotions and creams: 3-5%, Balms: 5-100%
